Emotional eating is when you eat food to give you comfort. If you are stressed, anxious, lonely, bored etc you may reach for food to comfort these emotions.
Conditioned eating is when you eat food because of childhood conditioning. You may have been made to feel guilty for leaving food on your plate or told you couldn’t have dessert until you finished your main meal.
